My reconstruction started the day of the mastectomy. Really uncomfortable, but I am glad I opted for it, or else I don't know if I would have had the guts to go through with a second operation. I can feel the port under my left arm, but I have no feeling under my left arm! Went for a fill 1 April (hehe) and the plastic surgeon added another 50ml. Stretches like mad, and the foob moved to under my arm. I have never had big breasts, so the foob and the boob are almost even, and most people can't see that I've had the breast removed.

I also had the expander put in as soon as they removed my breast and they also started to fill in theatre, it does help to look down and see something instead of nothing.

I am set for my recon next week
I find the expander is getting very uncomfortable now.
