My friends grandson Dean was born on 05 November 2009. He has heart problems and underwent open hear surgery today. He is so tiny at 3 months old. He came out of theatre at 13H30 today and they are not happy with his heart beat. It is irregular. If in 7 days it is still irregular they have to put in a pacemaker.
Please pray that he recovers well from this and that he does not need the pacemaker. And please pray that his family have strengh and comfort from God to face this challenge.

Thank you
Tania

Father God I pray for little Dean, Lord we know that YOU are in control of this whole situation. Father I would like to thank you for the past 3 months he could spend with his family and I pray that the time going forward will be much less stressful together. Father I lift up the family to you Lord.

Father I pray this is in your wonderful, wonderful name

Amen

Thank you all, I have told Janique (mom of baby) that you are all praying for him.
They are keeping him sedated for a week, so that he does not feel the pain and disomfort from the op. His heartbeat is still irregular, they say they have to give it 7 days before a decision is made whether to put in a pacemaker or not.
I will kup.

Thank you for all your prayers. Baby Dean is doing much better. He smiled at his Mommy yesterday and she can finaly hold him now. He is also feeding alot better. They will make a decision about the pacemaker by Wednesday.
God is great, all we need to do is ask and believe.

They had a bit of a scare last week, his one lung callapsed, which the doctors said was normal for his condition, but its all ok now.
The wonderfull news is little Dean does not need a pacemaker. He was discharged on Tuesday and is home now. Shame all the stress is taking its toll on his mom. The doc has given her something to help with the stress of it all. He cries alot and wants to be held the whole time, his got a long scar on his chest and they said it could still be painfull for him. I think the poor little angel has been through so much trauma he just wants to feel safe in his mom's arms. The worst is over now and it will take time I guess to get back to normality. His out of danger and that is the most important. Another one of God's miracles.
